DURASHINE® Liner Profle is an attractive, slightly fitted wall & ceiling cladding for exterior and interior use on straight or curved surfaces. DURASHINE® Liner Profile is manufactured out of high strength steel which has longitudinal fiutes that provide rigidity and strength along the length of the sheet while retaining full fexibility across the width. It can be used with the fiutes vertically or horizontally, however, DURASHINE® Liner Profile is not intended as a roofing material.
Galvanised Iron (GI) Pipes are manufactured using mild steel strips of Low Carbon Steel Coils. The strips are passed through a series of fin rolls to give them a circular shape. The slit ends of the strips are then welded together by continuously passing high frequency electric current across the edges. The welded steel pipes are then passed through sizing sections where any dimensional deviations are corrected. The pipes are then cut into desired lengths by automatic cutting machines. The tubes are then pressure tested for any leaks randomly. The galvanization and varnishing of pipes are done as per specific requirements.
The GI Pipes are generally used for distribution of treated or raw water in rural or urban areas. These pipes are cheaper, light weight and easy to handle.
The protection provided by hot-dip galvanizing is insufficient for products that will be constantly exposed to corrosive materials such as acids, including acid rain in outdoor uses. For these applications, more expensive stainless steel is preferred. Some nails made today are galvanized. Nonetheless, electroplating is used on its own for many outdoor applications because it is cheaper than hot-dip zinc coating and looks good when new. Another reason not to use hot-dip zinc coating is that for bolts and nuts of size M10 (US 3/8") or smaller, the thick hot-dipped coating fills in too much of the threads, which reduces strength (because the dimension of the steel prior to coating must be reduced for the fasteners to fit together). This means that for cars, bicycles, and many other light mechanical products, the practical alternative to electroplating bolts and nuts is not hot-dip zinc coating, but making the fasteners from stainless steel.

A reducer is the component in a pipeline that reduces the pipe size from a larger to a smaller bore (inner diameter).
The length of the reduction is usually equal to the average of the larger and smaller pipe diameters. There are two main types of reducer: concentric and eccentric reducers.
A reducer can be used either as nozzle or as diffuser depending on the mach number of the flow.
A reducer allows for a change in pipe size to meet hydraulic flow requirements of the system, or to adapt to existing piping of a different size. Reducers are usually concentric but eccentric reducers are used when required to maintain the same top-or bottom-of-pipe level.
These fittings are manufactured in inch and metric size.
